Calcutta 2000 by Tony Jackson

Calcutta 2000.

Artist's Musings:
"This work was done specifically for a Millennium exhibition here in Hemel Hempstead, Herts, UK and is on display at our local Arts Centre at the moment. It is called "Calcutta 2000" and is about the huge gap that exists in our modern world between rich and poor, between new and old. Let us try and do something about the 30% of humanity that are in extreme poverty." Tony Jackson
