Robert Stagemyer

I live and work in Dade City, Florida [Tampa area]. Art is my life. I work many more hours than if I was employed by someone else, but it is a labor of love. I attended Art Schools, such as the Art Students League, in NY, to study painting, but discovered about 15 years ago that sculpting is my real love. I believe that all Art is important. Some Art has political or social significance. Some Art's purpose is to decorate. Art can bring a smile to your face or a tear to your eyes.

In February 1991, my daughter, Emily Sarah was born. Now eight, she is the inspiration for the "Little Angel" series, and is the light in my life. I decided somewhere in my career, that I wanted to create a positive mood with my work, that stirs an emotion or a memory.
